Using simple soldering techniques, the Sounder can provide a full complement of locomotive lighting effects: Prime Stratolight; Mars; Ditch; Gyro; Strobe (single & double); and on/off function for internal lighting.

MRC’s Dual Mode technology enhances diesel engine decoder performance by packing it with the “best of the best” sound features available: 4-digit addressing and 14-28/128 speed steps of course; synchronized diesel engine sounds with eight notches; two types of horns, two different bells, 28 accessory functions, and motor silent control; and a magnificently operated set of directional light effects including Headlight, Ditch light, Mars light, Gyralight and Beacon light. This diesel engine decoder has four solder tabs for easy accessory light hookup.
